Still Running Through Pain — or Not Running at All?

Most runners don't need more rest. They need a clear diagnosis, a root-cause plan, and a therapist who actually understands what it takes to get back to running at full speed.

Still Running Through Pain — or Not Running at All?

Most runners don't need more rest. They need a clear diagnosis, a root-cause plan, and a therapist who actually understands what it takes to get back to running at full speed.

Cookie-Cutter PT Misses the Real Problem

Most clinics treat your symptom, not your movement. If no one has assessed your running gait, hip strength, and load mechanics, you're just managing pain — not solving it.

Stopping Doesn't Equal Healing

Taking time off feels safe, but without addressing the underlying weakness or dysfunction, the same miles that hurt you before will hurt you again. You're not just losing fitness — you're losing confidence in your own body.

Why Tampa Runners Choose Crossover PT

Why Tampa Runners Choose Crossover PT

At Crossover Physical Therapy & Performance, we don't just treat where it hurts — we evaluate how you move, how you run, and what's driving your injury. Every runner gets a thorough assessment, a personalized plan, and direct access to their therapist between sessions. We bridge the gap between PT and performance so you don't just recover — you come back better.

  • Full 60-minute 1-on-1 sessions with a Doctor of PT — no aides, no double-booking, ever

  • Running Gait Analysis and movement screening to find the real cause of your pain

  • Return-to-run programming that gets you back on the road stronger, not just pain-free

Real Results

"I came to Dr. Bryant with low back pain — I herniated a disc 18 months earlier and couldn't bend to tie my shoes without fear. Four months later I'm comfortably deadlifting 225 lbs and squatting. I'm free from daily pain. Dr. Bryant takes a personalized approach and creates a tailored program that tackles the root cause, not just symptoms."

Real results from real patients at Crossover PT.

I came to Bryant with patella tendinitis, and thanks to his expertise, my knee is now completely healed. He is knowledgeable, attentive, and takes the time to tailor each session to my needs. Bryant also provides daily exercises to continue strengthening at home, which has been invaluable to my recovery.

Lisa G.

I connected with Dr. Bryant at Crossover PT & Performance a couple of months before a marathon I was training for. He performed a thorough assessment, evaluating internal and external rotation and range of motion in both hips to identify weaknesses and compensations. The results have been excellent—my hip mobility and strength have improved significantly.

Mike P

I work an office job and I am sitting most of the day, I'm not a professional athlete, but I do lift regularly and noticed issues in my hip forming. First session at Crossover, he was able to diagnose what was going on and give me a strategy on what we could do to fix it. It has been amazing. My warm-ups are better, I feel like I'm moving better, and I love that it's science based.
